Heroes 1st Incorporated Opens in Long Beach March 4th
A New Veterans’ Service Organization Aims to Enhance the Lives of the Local Military Community
LONG BEACH, CA - Heroes 1st Incorporated, a new veterans' service organization, will open its new location in Long Beach, California, on March 4, 2022.
Created in November 2021 by five friends, each expert and credentialed in their respective fields, bringing more than one hundred fifty years of collective experience to the organization. The vision is clear; To be a distinguished organization that is recognized as an inclusive collaborative model of care. We fervently believe the military community has the inalienable right to thrive and flourish, while achieving optimal mental and physical health with dignity. Heroes 1st Incorporated helps enhance the lives of our county's military heroes through various specialized services, including mental and physical health, education, employment readiness and financial acuity. The organization also assists veterans with referrals for housing, legal assistance, and benefits claims, in addition to providing services for families with children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Logan Baughman III, MSW, a disabled United States veteran and Chief Executive Officer, states, "From the first point of engagement, our primary goal is to ensure that these American heroes and their families know one thing: we are here to help."
Parry Abraham, Executive Director, added. "Our results-driven team spends the time and resources to listen to our clients with empathy and insight, using their knowledge and expertise to deliver superior client care.”
The assistance provided by Heroes 1st helps the military community maneuver the bureaucracy and "red tape" of the veterans' assistance system in America, one that generally prolongs the delivery of acutely needed services. As the pre-eminent nongovernmental agency serving the military community in Southern California and beyond, our team stands ready to serve the heroes that served the American people first.
