What an awesome way to celebrate turning O-N-E! Heroes 1st had the honor to participate with the City of Long Beach to celebrate our local Veterans. The fun filled day had a little something for everyone. Heroes 1st shared information on the importance of Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters, offered blood pressure screenings and answered questions about the variety of Veteran services we provide.
The band was awesome playing hits from all genres and had everyone's toes tapping and we even saw a few folks cutting a rug (or would that be cutting the grass). The beer garden was a big hit too. State Assemblyman Mike Gibson dropped by to give Heroes 1st kudos for making such an impact on our community its first year.
Making connections is the most important goal of Heroes 1st. Through these connections we are able to bring much needed services to our Veteran community in Long Beach and beyond! Our team of physical and mental health professionals stand at the ready to service and/or refer Veterans through counseling, physical exams, training, job preparedness and much more.
