Heroes 1st offers a variety of services for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities of the military community. We aggressively seek out families in need of our services for both active duty and veterans. We are an integral part of a network of organizations offering services from In Home Supportive Services to recreational and performing arts groups.

The military community is many times at its wits end while searching for the services desperately needed for their special needs children in a new location. Our goal is to refer our clients to the right resource the first time. Our network participants are carefully vetted and stand ready to serve.
