Community Services
In keeping with our mission, Heroes 1st has added a variety of services as a convenience to the military community. We’ve broadened our scope to include all the greater Long Beach area and beyond. Included in our community services are Notary Public, Parenting Classes, and 13-Panel Urine Drug Testing.
Breakthrough Parenting Classes
Our ten-week course is designed for parents that believe it is vitally important to invest time, resources, and innate energy to make a difference in the quality of their family relationships. Parents that complete our Breakthrough Parenting Classes (BPC) gain a better understanding of the family dynamic and their crucial role in the family’s cohesive coexistence. This BPC course shows the steps that make all relationships work, especially as it relates to bringing up responsible children. It is our goal to strengthen families with the knowledge, skills, and insight, which can move parents and their children forward in actualizing their full potential.
Upon successful completion of Our Breakthrough Parenting Classes, Parents will receive appropriate court/government approved documentation of their diligence in becoming effective agents of change for themselves and their families.
Our course is available in-person and online.
Notary Services
Our focus on accuracy and efficiency is key. Our agent, an engineer, performs the notarial act with razor like efficiency. He is cover by $1,000,000 errors and omissions insurance policy so you’re covered! In most cases same day appointments are available. The cost is only $15 per notarized signature, plus travel, if applicable.
Notary services certify that the person signing is indeed the person named. Agents are not legal, financial, insurance or health care advisors. The agent also does not certify the validity or accuracy of the document. Government issued identification is required for all transactions—NO EXCEPTIONS.
13-Panel Drug Testing
There are several compelling reasons to choose an expanded drug panel such as the 13-panel test. The 13-panel drug test screens for commonly misused prescription drugs and illegal substances.

Our Abbott Laboratories iCup test is a quick and accurate screening that returns results in as little as ten minutes. Test are performed by gender specific technicians with dignity and confidentiality. If the results are disputed, samples will be submitted to an outside lab for further testing. Additional fee applies.
Certification of results is provided.
